Future Builders Of America

2009 FBA Summer Camp video

Future Builders of America is a workforce development program of the Florida Home Builders Foundation. FBA links the local building community to students from area schools that offer construction-related classes. An FBA chapter is like a club that helps bridge the gap between school and work. Guest speakers and field trips to building sites, along with opportunities for summer and post-graduation employment help introduce students to rewarding opportunities in the residential construction industry. Additionally, students develop leadership and team building skills, learn how to run a meeting and use parliamentary procedure, and become part of the local home building community.
