PCBA Foundation

 

The PCBA Foundation is the charitable arm of the Polk County Builders Association. Members of the Polk County Builders Association recognized the building industry has a need for skilled workers. It was obvious many Florida youth didn’t realize the potential future a job in the construction industry could provide. In an effort to address these work force issues, a group of forward thinking PCBA members formed the non-profit Polk County Builders Association Foundation.

The purpose of the Foundation is to engage in housing-related educational and charitable activities, including, but not limited to, assisting persons in understanding and pursuing rewarding careers in home building and related trades; and giving back to the community through the donation of gifts and services to worthy causes.

In order to support the mission of the Foundation, we have formed a "Founders Circle" to accept donations to help further the educational arm of the Foundation. Generous donors are making it possible to provide scholarships to young people pursuing careers in the construction trades. 

You can help shape the future of the home building industry today, and for years to come, by making a tax-deductible donation to the PCBA Foundation through the "Founders Circle."

We will be happy to accept donations in memory of loved ones. At the donor's request we would send out a memory card to the decedent's family. 

The PCBA Foundation shares information with the community through presentations to civic organizations, such as Kiwanis, Rotary, etc., to educate others about the mission of the PCBA Foundation.  If you are interested in having a Foundation representative speak to an organization you are involved in, please contact Foundation Director Anne Hough at 863-665-0844 or anneh@pcba.com
