PCBA Foundation Scholarship Awards

The Polk County Builders Association Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now available for the 2008 PCBA Foundation scholarships. Recipients will be awarded $500 scholarships. The Foundation created the scholarship fund to assist in addressing the pressing need for a better educated and trained workforce in the construction building industry.

Scholarship applicants should be students in good standing and recommended by their teachers, returning students with a strong interest in the residential construction industry, or related trades who desire to pursue higher education opportunities, but lack financial resources. Those students that received scholarships to go on to higher education are eligible to apply for scholarships as long as they are attending college. An applicant should demonstrate an interest in remaining in the construction industry upon graduation.
